New website

For those that are actually reading this - I will not be using this blog site anymore. I have created a new site. Check out JustinBlue.com for further information on our family and what's going on.
Although I like Google and use all the other applications, I have never really liked Blogger for some reason. I will be using Wordpress, as I have taken to that setup better.
But all you have to do is type in JustinBlue.com and it will redirect you to the new setup. I can also be reached via email at justin@justinblue.com. All my old email addresses will still be valid, but I am trending toward streamlining everything about our family through this new website.
Since I just set things up today, the posts are minimal and will take a bit to flesh out and personalize everything over the next couple of months.

Guess I should update?

You've heard this before:

WOW, it's been awhile since my last update. I should do this more often. I promise I will update more regularly.

But, I won't say that, cause it won't happen. Besides who really reads my blog anyway? But, if you are interested there's always my Facebook page, my twitter account, and Google+. I have found that I do better with the micro blogging tools, than these long-winded, drawn out explanations of my life.
Mostly because, my life is pretty predictable nowadays, get up, go to work, come home, eat dinner, interact with the kids, put the kids to bed, read a book, maybe watch TV, go to sleep. Repeat.
With the micro blogging platforms, I can post the little things that make life interesting as they happen in quick, short sentences from my mobile phone. At this time in my life it works for me.
I do have a religious based blog that I sometimes update on Sundays when I feel like it. Check it out at MormonAngst.com.

MMF

Watching the Broncos and the Raiders beat each other up. I'm loving the intensity and hard hits. It kind of feels like a playoff game.

Amelia is ready for school!

Okay, so we really don't send Amelia to school with Easter Bunny ears and sunglasses, but she did try to sneak it past us. Which I thought was funny and blog-worthy.

The first snow!

I'm never ready for the first snowfall, but it's here already. At least I don't have to shovel the driveway! Sent via BlackBerry by AT&T

Nike+ Human Race 10k 2009

Today was the day for the Nike+ Human Race 10k. Rachelle and I ran the race on our own at the Jordan River Parkway.  It was a little overcast and cool, but was still perfect for running. I felt good while running and didn't get too winded until the last 2 miles and they were a little tough. I ended up with a better time than last year, but I didn't beat my best time, however I'll take the time I did get. I ended up running the 10k in 48 min and 38 seconds.
Overall, I had a great time training and getting ready for the race.  I started running alot back in August and ran about 3 times a week since then.  I feel that participating in the Human Race helped me get faster and has helped my overall conditioning.  I can't wait for next year's Race!
